West Shore Safe Community Coalition – Mason, Oceana, Muskegon Counties

• MLOCRUD, a local MCRUD coalition, is a subcommittee of their Safe Community coalition.
• They are addressing their top deficits that are common for all three counties – seat belt use and impaired driving. The third top deficit was different for each county.
• They have distributed Click It or Ticket (CIOT) window clings to businesses with drive-through windows.
• They have distributed CIOT materials to be placed on fire trucks.
• They are currently promoting water safety.
• Recently achieved nonprofit status with the State of Michigan.
