Patrons Fund
Purpose: Grade school and high school playgrounds and equipment, and athletic
fields and equipment.
Range: $500-$7,000
Oldsmobile Classic Youth Charities Fund.
Purpose: Youth programs in the tri-county
Range $500-$7,000
Lugnut Charities Fund
Purpose: Support existing and create new programs for youth in the greater
Lansing area
Range $300-$4,000
Unrestricted Funds
Purpose: Board charitable purposes in the fields of humanities, education,
environment, health care, human services, and public benefit
Range $300-$20,000 |
| Grant Guidelines |
Projects are given funding priority that:
- Reach a broad segment of the community
- Encourage matching gifts or additional funding
- Assist those citizens whose needs are not being met by existing services
- Meet emerging needs, are innovative and have a high probability of leading to new
solutions to community challenges
- Are collaborative, comprehensive, promote cooperation among organizations within the
region, and have the potential for ongoing community impact

MCRUD minigrants are awarded to carry out
projects or activities which address underage alcohol use, and incorporate community
participation in planning and delivery services |
| Grant Guidelines |
- Project must be compatible with MCRUD goals
- Must take a primary role in preventing underage alcohol use
- Must use credible, researched-based prevention strategies or proven approaches
- Must be age, culture, and audience appropriate
- Must establish collaboration
- Ongoing commitment is preferred

Minigrants are awarded to support ATOD and other
drug prevention projects which are initiated, implemented, carried out , and followed up
by grassroots, volunteer-based community groups. |

- Must be primarily ATOD prevention approaches
- Must have a broad community involvement component
- Must be age, culture, and age appropriate
- Projects are replicable
- Ongoing commitment is preferred
